Directly after today`s game against Crewe Alexandra, the Brentford Board met and decided that an immediate change was required to try and halt the run of sixteen games without a win.

As a result the Board decided to terminate the contract of Leroy Rosenior with immediate effect after six months in charge.

Youth Team Manager Scott Fitzgerald has been asked, and agreed, to look after the team in the short term while the Club begin the process of searching for a new Manager. This will commence immediately under the direction of Keith Dickens the Club`s Managing Director.

The Board wish it to be placed on record that they have the utmost respect for Leroy Rosenior and they felt that he went about his task with enthusiasm and intelligence. However it was felt that a change had to be made now to try and stem any further damage to the Club`s ambitions.
