END OF AN ERA: IJAH MOVES ON

Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004
After eight years and 242 games for Brentford, Ijah Anderson has been released, enabling him to join Bristol Rovers.

The 27-year-old completed the necessary paperwork late on Friday afternoon, The Pirates stepping in to make his move at the Memorial Ground permanent.

Ijah joined Brentford from Southend United in August 1995 and became a huge fans favourite in his time at Griffin Park, winning a Third Division Championship medal in 1999. From all at Griffin Park, we wish Ijah the very best of luck at Rovers and indeed his future career.
