Brentford Football Club are delighted to announce, with the kind permission of Dagenham and Redbridge FC, that Andy Scott has secured the signatures of Daggers' trio Danny Foster, Ben Strevens and Sam Saunders.
24 year old defender Danny brings with him the experience of almost 200 games for the Daggers since signing from Tottenham Hotspur in 2004. The former England Under-18 international was almost ever-present last season following his first appearance in October and scored two goals in one match versus Luton Town.
Ben also scored 14 goals for Dagenham & Redbridge last season to add to the 20 goals the previous season. He joined them in December 2006 from Crawley Town, who had previously signed him from Barnet four months earlier. The experienced striker, who turned 29 in May, has over 350 games and 89 goals behind him.
Sam, 25, joined the Daggers in 2005 from Carshalton Athletic. He has subsequently played 135 games for the Essex based club scoring 20 goals, 14 of them last season including one in both games against us.
All three believe that joining Brentford is an exciting move, and are relishing the opportunity to play League 1 football under the guidance of Andy Scott this coming season.
