Brentford Football Club are delighted to announce that youngsters Ross Montague and Lewis Dark have today signed their first professional contracts.
Ross and Lewis, both 18, have signed one-year deals with the Club, both with one-year options.
Both players featured regularly for the youth team last season, before being promoted to the first team during Head of Youth Barry Quin's four-match Caretaker-Manager spell in April / May.
Ross made his debut as a second-half substitute against Nottingham Forest at Griffin Park on 14th April, while Lewis made his full debut at Doncaster Rovers a week later.
Speaking on Wednesday afternoon, Barry Quin said:
"It's superb news for themselves, their families and for the Centre Of Excellence.
"They are two different stories, Lewis joined us later on, when he was sixteen, whilst Ross has come up from the Junior Bees right through the ranks.
"I'm delighted for them both, they didn't show everything they had to offer in their limited appearances last season, there is a lot more to come from both players, that's for sure."
